The entree was accompanied by a side salad, bread roll, Appenzeller cheese and a cake as a dessert. I decided to eat the delicious vegetarian pasta made after a recipe from the famous vegetarian restaurant Hiltl in Zurich. You could select your main course out of two dishes. After takeoff they offered some drinks before they started with their food service.
During the flight they offered lots of food, altough I travelled in Economy class. and the screen was quite big on this airplane type. The flight crew was friendly and attentive all flight long till the doors openend at SFO airport! Usually I don‘t use the IFE on board, but on this flight I enjoyed it pretty much, as they had a good selection of movies, documentaries etc. I‘m a Star Alliance Gold member and that‘s why I could visit one of their really nice lounge facilities at ZRH airport. Recently I had a very nice flight experience with Swiss from Zurich to San Francisco on a 777-300ER equipment.
